There is a question that has haunted philosophers, theologians, and ordinary people for centuries:

Who is God?

I love this story.

A dear friend of mine, Steve, was in a theology class with one of the most brilliant professors he had ever encountered. At the end of the semester, this professor walked to the whiteboard and wrote just one test question: “

Steve had been up for days studying. He sat there, staring at that question—and fell asleep.
Three hours later, the professor woke him.

His paper was blank except for his name.
He got an A+.
Because the professor said, “You’re exactly right, Steve. You can’t describe God.”
And that—that right there—is where our journey into faith begins.

In the Beginning, God

Genesis 1:1 doesn’t start with a theory.

It doesn’t start with a debate.

It starts with a declaration:

Before there was light…
Before there was sky…
Before there was earth…
Before there was anything…
There was God.
What a breathtaking truth.
When everything around you feels uncertain, unstable, or void…
God was already there. He is the foundation before the foundation.

A God Who Exists Outside of Time

One of the most freeing truths I have ever learned is this:

God transcends time.

He lives outside of it.

We humans tend to think of God according to our own timeline—when we were born, what has happened to us, and what might happen next.

But God isn’t confined to our calendar

He was in your past. He is in your present.

He is already in your future.

That means before you knew you needed Him…

He was already there.

The God Who Is Three in One

The word Trinity doesn’t appear in the Bible, but the reality of it is woven throughout every page.

God the Father—Yahweh, Elohim—is the essence of love.
God the Son—Yeshua, Jesus—is our redemption.
God the Holy Spirit—the Ruach of God—is the presence of God working in our lives.
Have you ever experienced unexpected tears while praying?
A deep sense of peace during worship?
A warmth you couldn’t explain?
That is the Holy Spirit ministering to your heart.
He is not distant.
He is not absent.
He is within you.

What This Means for You Today

You don’t have to understand everything about God to trust Him.
You don’t have to earn His love.
You don’t have to prove yourself worthy.
You simply have to believe.
Believe that God the Father loved you enough to send His Son.
Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. Allow the Holy Spirit to transform your life.
This three-part God—Father, Son, and Spirit—comes into your life and lifts you above every storm, every uncertainty, and every valley.
Not because life becomes perfect…
But because you are no longer facing it alone.

In the beginning there was God. And today…
He is still here—for you.

Blessings!
